Dan is a retired Special Agent with 24 years of extensive specialty training and experience working the top echelon of complex cases in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition to being an accomplished investigator, Dan meets Federal and State expert witness criteria and is experienced in testifying in Oregon Civil Court, depositions, Grand Juries, and State and Federal criminal trials.
Dan has a diverse portfolio of investigations in criminal, civil, and national security matters, which gives him unique insight into the strategies of the prosecution and defense, as well as the mindset of the victims and perpetrators. Investigations worked include:

During his career, Dan proudly served on specialty squads that challenged him both physically and mentally. He was a member of the FBI Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and was an FBI Defensive Tactics Instructor for 11 years. Dan spent several years with an FBI Surveillance Operations Group, piloting planes, operating FLIR, and conducting operational and countersurveillance for criminal and national security missions across the United States.
